One of our specialties at Hillsons Designs is incorporating a client’s most sentimental possessions into her home design. Having reminders of those we love is what warms our hearts and makes us feel connected.
In a favorite home of ours, we framed a butterfly that was special to our client as it had belonged to her mother.
In another space we hung sketches drawn by our client’s mom as a young woman in college.
And, one of the most fun, was framing a handwritten family tree to hang in a client’s home.
Her uncle had painstakingly researched the family and left it for those who follow. His last line was, "Maybe this will explain a few things!”
